Policy Statement

We operate mobile sauna sessions in London public spaces under a comprehensive safety, accessibility, inclusion, and environmental policy framework. All sessions are professionally supervised, risk assessed, and aligned with local authority and council requirements for temporary activities in parks.

We are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all participants, staff, contractors, and members of the public, regardless of disability, ethnicity, race, religion or belief, gender, sexual orientation, age, or other protected characteristics, in line with the Equality Act 2010.

Duty of Care & Responsibility

Mobile Sauna Hire London accepts full operational responsibility for:

• Participant safety

• Staff conduct

• Equipment operation

• Site setup and management

We take all reasonable steps to identify, manage, and reduce risks associated with operating a public sauna in shared outdoor spaces.

Health & Safety

All sessions operate under a Health & Safety framework covering:

• Heat exposure and safe sauna use

• Slips, trips, and falls

• Safe entry and exit

• Hydration and rest periods

• Clear participant briefings before use

First aid equipment is available on site at all times.

Fire & Heat Safety

• Heating systems are operated and monitored at all times by trained staff

• Fire risks are controlled through daily checks

• Appropriate emergency equipment is present

• Clear procedures exist for responding to overheating, burns, or fire-related incidents

Capacity & Supervision

• Sessions are limited to a maximum of 8 participants, depending on configuration

• Entry and exit are controlled

• The sauna is supervised at all times to prevent overcrowding and unsafe use

Accessibility & Disability Inclusion

We are committed to inclusive access and make reasonable adjustments where possible.

This includes:

• Clear explanations of risks, facilities, and limitations

• Respectful assistance where requested

• Flexibility around participation, breaks, and exit

Where full physical access is not possible due to the mobile nature of the sauna, this is communicated clearly in advance, and alternative arrangements are discussed where appropriate.

Alcohol & Intoxication Policy

Alcohol and drugs are not permitted on site.

For safety reasons, anyone showing signs of intoxication may be refused entry. This policy protects participants, staff, and the wider public.

Emergency & Incident Response

• Clear procedures for medical incidents, emergencies, and evacuations

• Emergency access routes maintained

• Incidents recorded and reviewed

• Continuous improvement based on experience and guidance

Staff Training

Staff are trained in:
